PARIS, FRANCE

This project was developed in collaboration with Chanel product development atelier. The project looks at cellulose as a new material for furniture, the task was to understand it’s capacity in fabricating one off set-designs and furniture for shows and runways. Temporary sets and furniture cause a huge amount of waste for the industry. The aim of the project was to produce a material and process using cellulose to create more sustainable alternatives to plastics and other materials.

The project focused on spraying the cellulose material, which is commonly used within the construction industry for concrete and mortar walls.
